A Perfect Autumn Wedding at The Green Cornwall: Clea & Kai’s Magical Day
This autumn, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of The Green Cornwall, Clea and Kai celebrated a warm and vibrant wedding that beautifully captured the essence of the season. Coming from Bristol, the couple chose an mid-week ceremony, giving friends and family a chance to come together, enjoy the beautiful countryside, and share every special moment.
The festivities kicked off the night before, with loved ones arriving at The Green to relax and settle in and enjoy our Street Food menu. By morning, excitement filled the air as everyone gathered for breakfast. Keeping with tradition, Clea and Kai opted to hold off on seeing each other until the ceremony. Clea got ready in The Green’s charming shepherd’s hut salon, with breakfast brought to her in the farmhouse so the couple could keep the anticipation building up until that special moment in the wedding barn.
The ceremony itself took place in The Green’s wedding barn—a perfect setting with its rustic charm and breathtaking autumnal décor. The florals were a stunning mix of deep reds, burnt oranges, and warm yellows, creating a warm and elegant backdrop for Clea and Kai’s vows. The atmosphere was vibrant and intimate, designed to capture the warmth and beauty of autumn.
After the ceremony, guests gathered in The Green Room Bar for canapés, mingling and toasting to the newlyweds while their photographer captured unforgettable moments. The lush outdoor spaces and the Really Rustic Barn provided the ideal backdrop for more photos (and smoke bombs), letting the couple and their guests enjoy beauty of The Green’s autumn colours.
As the evening progressed, everyone gathered for a classic three-course dinner. The meal brought everyone together, and after heartfelt toasts and laughter, it was time to hit the dance floor! The music carried through the night, with everyone dancing, laughing, and celebrating until the early hours.
To wrap up the perfect wedding, guests were treated to one last breakfast together the next morning, making it a final moment to enjoy each other’s company before saying their goodbyes.

The staff and our coordinators were incredibly communicative and skilled in helping the day run smoothly. We had so many compliments on the food choices at our wedding breakfast, with many of the guests coming from a hotel/restaurant background this was a great thing to hear!
As a bride, there is a lot to think about but the level of detail that this venue did for us is next level. They were just ahead of it all, my wedding day was something I’ll never forget because of this venue and the team behind it all.
