Local Places To Stay

We don’t have any spare accommodation as all the rooms will be occupied by the couple and their guests. If you need a place to stay, this list provides some suggestions close by.

If you’re travelling by train or need transport locally we receommend all taxis are pre-booked as our rural location means that they are not always easy to come by.

Supplier Familiarisation Visits

As a busy venue offering exclusive hire events, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate individual supplier familiarisation visits.

However, each couple is invited to attend a Taster Day and you’re very welcome to join them on this occasion to explore the venue and plan together. If this would be helpful, please liaise directly with the couple to find out when this has been arranged.

We also offer occasional Refresher Visits throughout the year. These are available to the couple, and again, you’re welcome to coordinate with them to attend and discuss arrangements during one of these visits. Please note that The Green cannot make these arrangements directly with you.

If neither of these options is suitable, our Virtual Tour is a great alternative and can be accessed at any time via the link provided.

We kindly remind you that unarranged or speculative visits are not possible, as The Green operates exclusively for each booked event.

Public Liability Insurance (PLI)

All suppliers providing services at The Green must hold valid Public Liability Insurance. Your insurance must be current on the date of the wedding. If your policy expires before then, please wait to submit your details until after you’ve renewed.

If you haven’t arranged your PLI yet, it’s quick and affordable to set up and offers valuable peace of mind.
